Let’s face it, the world of “eco-friendly” products can be as confusing as a maze. Some products may seem very green with their packaging, but concrete details about what’s actually inside and what happens after disposal is uncertain and a mystery. This lack of real transparency is the hallmark of greenwashing.
At SuperWrap, we deliver real confident promises. We are proud of our beloved beeswax wraps that are 100% organically made and biodegradable. We craft our beeswax with only a handful of pure, natural components. This level of details is not just about showing how great we are, but to build trust and genuine impact for you. Here’s what exactly inside every sheet:
1. 100% Organic Cotton:
Our wraps are made of organic cotton that are ethically sourced to guarantee no harmful pesticides or fertilizers come into contact with the soil during growth. This makes our fabric soft, strong and breathable to provide a strong base. We also upcycle used textiles and collaborate with local artists to create stylish designs for our fabrics.
2. Pure Beeswax:
This is the secret on how well we preserve your food. We responsibly sourced them from our local happy bees to create the perfect stickiness that is antibacterial and antimicrobial.
3. Jojoba Oil:
We specifically chose it for its superior quality. This ingredient enhances the wrap’s stickiness and flexibility without being tacky. It's also responsible for being able to mold your food and seal with the warmth of your hands.
4. Tree Resin:
This natural resin enhances its durability and supports the whole structure. It helps the wrap hold its shape and provides that ultra grip that keeps your bowl covered or your sandwich tightly wrapped.
Beyond our Ingredients, we go further by being Non-Toxic & Food-Safe. Our organic ingredients are non-toxic and food safe as it has no hidden plastics(PVC or PE), artificial coloring and is BPA free.
Once your wrap has served you well (typically 1 year), it does not need complex industrial facilities to degrade it. You may dispose of them directly by cutting them into smaller pieces, or you may even dispose of them in your beloved plant pot. Our beeswax wrap enriches soil with nutrients during decomposition, providing support for your plant’s growth.
